Onekeycap began with two keyboard nerds—Warhol and Pollock—who met online and instantly clicked over their shared obsession with custom keyboards. Like many enthusiasts, they loved the idea of building something truly personal—spending hours picking the perfect switches and dreaming up keycaps that would make their setups stand out.
How Onekeycap was born
But they soon realized: not everyone had the time (or patience) to build a keyboard from scratch. So, they decided to change that—making it easier for anyone to have a keyboard that feels uniquely theirs.
Warhol, a designer with a soft spot for creativity, found most keycaps... well, kind of boring. Pretty colors, sure—but where was the personality? That’s when he sculpted his first artisan cap, the Lotso. It was playful, different, and quickly became a hit. Just like that, Onekeycap was born.
